Guest guest
Talia was fine yesterday but last evening she had a couple of chunky runny diapers and a 102/3 fever. it hasn't dropped yet. I have given her 3 doses of Tylenol. Art's sugar crashed at 3am when we realized Talia was burning us . i couldn't find the thermometer for the life of me ( finally did though) and Alli woke up in the commotion and wouldn't go back to sleep for the longest time. So I have a burning kid, a sleepy kid and less than 2 days to pack for our trip. In short any ideas on how to stay alert and maybe help bring my baby's fever down and not loose patience with a 4 year old while i go crazy. I am soo wasting time writing this. LOL Thanks Also I will be on no mail till we get back. Wish us luck we really hope this is fun or the most expensive mistake of our marriage so far. LOL but Iams ure it will be fun. just challenging at times ( for that don't know rented a 35' Rv for the first time to drive to Tallahassee) Stuck avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. Guest guest
Cool cloth rubs and tub baths got us through a 5 day bout of Roseola when temps were 104 in my 2 year old. Nope, they don't always like it, but it brings the fever down. As much fluid as baby will drink, too. 4 year olds like to be helpers, so maybe give a job of getting cool, damp cloths; helping to pack - mine loves putting daddies clothes away, so have her search for a specific item in a certain drawer - makes them happy to find it, improves listening skills, and keeps them occupied while you do whatever. When all else fails sit down with both in your lap and rock-away listening to calming music or singing songs. Good luck! I don't envy your position, but I know you can get through it!!
