What causes constant bruising at the slightest of bumping into anything. Also..the bruises last for an extremely long time? Is it

a vitamin deficiency of some sort?

I've always been an easy bruiser... but came to find out it was because I also used to get frequent headaches and would therefor take a LOT of asprin (In my case, excedrin) these drugs thin the blood. Do you take asprin? That may be the problem... Don't know much else, but it could be some sort of vitamin deficiency...Good luck solving!Love and Blessings Always,~RaavenStarlyet wrote: What causes constant bruising at the slightest of bumping into anything. My son had a bad problem with this when he was about 1 to 1 1/2. He

would sit on his knees on pea gravel and get bruises through his

pants! You could see the little blue marks where every piece of gravel

was just about as soon as he got up and walked to the porch. It was

very concerning especially in a small child, we were so afraid that

people would think we beat him or something. The doctor had no

suggestions, and refered us to a specialist. After reviewing our

family history the specialist said that we would have to do bloodwork

in order to find the problem. We eventually attributed it to a bad

diet, and started eating more vegetables an what leafy greens he could

eat (e.g. iron), and better quality meats.
