Guest guest
My daughter has these little bumps, too. I have been on a crazy stream of elimination diets to try and get rid of them and nothing helps. How old are your daughters? And how old were they when you started giving them the sea kelp? My daughter is almost 19 months, but she weighs about 32 pounds (so she's the size of a three year old). If she's too young, could I take the sea kelp and pass it to her through my breastmilk? Thanks a bunch, Samantha > Both of my daughter's had little bumps on the backs > of their arms and I read this was an Iodine > deficiency, so they now take about 5 drops of sea > kelp a day and the bumps disappeared within a day or > two........they have noticed if they forget to take > the kelp the bumps comes back. > Maybe this will help you also. > blessings, Marlene
Guest guest
Samantha, My girls are 11 & 14 and they have had the bumps for a very long time but it was only about a year ago that I figured out it was the kelp. I don't think your daughter is to young for sea kelp , I would start off with 1 drop in her juice or water and keep an eye on the bumps and see if they disappear..........if not you could bump it up another drop but not too much as an adults dosage is about 10 drops. hope this helps, blessings, Marlene - ypoonS1123 herbal remedies Thursday, April 20, 2006 1:46 AM Re: Herbal Remedies - Little Bumps (Marlene) My daughter has these little bumps, too. Guest guest
Thank you for all the imput. Viatamin A was my first thought, but after 6 months on A vit A and D capsule, they were no better. I did have him on an iodine/iodide supplement, but that is when he started to get the yellow hands and feet. He was only on 1/8 of the adult dose, so I don't think is was too much. He does not eat a lot of sugar, but I will try to limit it even more. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. Thank you all again.
