Guest guest
My husband has an itchy spot on his back that has bothered him for years. I know there are creams he could and does use, but they are just fixing the symptom. I have changed sheets more regularly we now use 7th generation laundry soap and Euro something softener. and have changed those like 3 times so it's not the laundry making him itch and it's only a spot on his back, so it's not the soap, although i have tried to get him to stop using Irish spring and try something else, but I can't figure it out? any ideas? Guest guest
I would try some jewel weed. You can find it on the internet already made into sprays and soaps etc. Or if you have some handy (it grows next to poison ivy and oak) you can simmer it in distiled water in an enamel or stainless steel pan and keep it in a mason jar in the dark. I also added some CS to mine( about two droppers full) and have kept it in the cupboard since last August, rather than taking up space in the refridgerator. My almost four year old has already gotten into the poison ivy this spring, and I had my first chance to try it out. Only had to use a bit on a cotton swab maybe twice a day, and the itching was gone immediatly. Also if it is a fungal or bactierial skin infection, and could benifit from some CS (colloidal silver), which will kill it and help with any healing. Guest guest
Hi Stuck Got a few questions for you Where exactly on his back is the spot? How big is it? Does the itching flare up at night, or perhaps first thing in the morning? Does it get worse in the summertime? What's his diet like? Does he take any prescriptions or over-the-counter drugs? Does he endure a mountain of stress? Does he have any known allergies? Has he ever itched anywhere else? It's possible that it could be eczema. Mine first appeared only where the wrist meets the forearm, on the palm side. And then it spread. But the spread was only along very specific lines and it did not cross those lines. That told us that it was an irritated nerve (we're Anatomy majors) but it took us quite a while to find the reason for the irritation. But I am one example. Everyone is different. Perhaps with more of the above info, I can be more specific in helping Hugs, ~Jyoti RMT, NMT herbal remedies , " Stuck " <Sstuck wrote: > > My husband has an itchy spot on his back that has bothered him for years.
