Guest guest Posted April 18, 2006 Report Share Posted April 18, 2006 I am on Interferon and Ribivarin therapy for hepatitis. I am going on my 6th month, and cleared in the second month! yay! Still, I am sick as a dog. I don't know if I can go another 6 months on this TX. It is really hard. I recently had labs done, and for the first time in my life, my thyroid was " low?".....( no wonder I sleep all the time lately?) Also, my cholestrol was High and my Triglycerides( sp)? The doctor referred me to an Endochronologist. I am wondering if an endo doctor can pinpoint most of whats going on with you? and fix these things or does it make sense that this chemo-like treatment that I am on has " changed" my chemical make-up?
