Guest guest
Hello, I hope maybe someone can help here. Both my grandchildren, ages 3 and 18 months, are very susceptible to asthma attacks, triggered so the docs say, by viral infections - as soon as they exhibit symptoms of colds, on comes an attack requiring nebulizer etc. They have been tested for environmental allergens, but none have been found. They may well grow out of this but we are all concerned about damage to their young lungs - any thoughts? By the way no-one else in the family has this asthma problem. Grateful thanks in advance - Lesley
Guest guest
I would use lobelia rubbed on the chest to relax the muscles in the chest. That's what lobelia does. I'd also look into some childrens herbal preparations specifically for asthma. I'm sure your health food store can help you there. I'm new here and I don't think we can give out brand names, or I'd be able to help you, so check with them OR you could look in your yellow pages or talk to friends who follow natural principles and find a naturopath in your area. I've been through this with a grandchild and all the doctors wanted to give were drugs. I took matters into my own hands (as I do with all their ailments) and he is fine today. I'd also suggest that you go to your search engine and put in " Asthma and Water " . I've read extensively and asthma is essentially a dehydration disease. Hope this helps you We do so hate to see our little ones suffer. herbal remedies , " woodwoof " <huskamute wrote: > > > Hello, I hope maybe someone can help here. Guest guest
You could use Eucalyptus in a vaporizer or in a pot of water simmering on the stove, this will help them to breathe easier.
