LOL Stuck - Rob Combis herbal remedies Friday, April 14, 2006 12:51 PM [lists] RE: Herbal Remedies - Herpies Vicki- There are a bunch of ways you can go with this. I would suggest making the total tonic formula in the files and giving your DIL (1) ounce three times a day. Also, I would look up something called a terminator zapper. It is a small device that emits a small electrical charge that is harmless to healthy cells and tissue but it kills virus, fungi, and bacteria. I used to get cold sores (Herpes I) all the time... I wore the terminator zapper in my sock for 2 1/2 months every day and I have had 2 cold sores in the past 3 years (none in the past 8 months!!).... I use to get one every month..... Let's just say I am very glad I found this.... Let me know if you have any questions.... Guest guest
Actually you have it completely backwards. Mom's to be are the only ones whose health they ARE concerned about. They are terrified of the backlash of birth defects so they ONLY say something is safe for them if it has been around for at least 20 years. They will try the fly by night pills on men out the wazoo. Most of those things go by the board withing 5 years (just watch all the lawyer TV commercials for the class action suits against drug companies) Now, as for losing weight, diet and exercise is really the only way to go. You might see if you have any underlying issues like thyroid, but other than that avoid the pills. Ramona PS I have to retype my daughters' handiwork all the time so I understand. Really. Guest guest
lolol- I third that- the smaller ones think they know exactly how to work my laptop !!!! my 3 yr old seems to be pretty good with it now tho- shes fascinated with my screensaver because its my photos so she adores watching herself lol- as far as the other, yes, they are EXTREMELY cautious when it comes to pregnant and nursing women just like babies. think about it, it toxins can mess up our developed systems, what are they doing to someone who is developing all their system....... sometimes I think they go overboard but ramona is so right- they put out some miracle drug then within a few years they are being sued for death, strokes and a number of other icky things
Guest guest
Stuck, There are a few reasons that any pill meant to be ingested by humans is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women (or to consult a physician before taking this pill). First and foremost, this 'recommendation' is a just a way of saying that the product has not been tested on pregnant or lactating women. If you contact your physician and s/he okays the pill, you are now a guinea pig. Another thing, some people are just dumb. Dumb people look at a bottle of pills and think, " Hmm. The label says to take two pills three times a day. If I take 10 pills three times a day, I will get better/skinnier/healthier sooner. " How many people do you know who take the recommended dosage of a pill? It is a way for the manufacturer to cover it's butt. Third, as far as dieting goes with breastfeeding, anything you ingest will pass through your milk--from dairy to wheat to Tylenol to Vitamin C. Any pills made for dieting are for adults, and may, even though all natural, cause harm to your DD. You don't want to harm her in any way just to lose a few pounds, know what I mean? Breastfeeding is WAY more important right now! There will be a day when she will not be breastfeeding and you can take those pills, but enjoy this stage now, but in the grand scheme of things it is truly a short time. And fourth, if you start a strenuous exercise regimen, a fast, a cleanse, etc. your body will push out toxins and they will exit primarily through the breastmilk, secondarily through sweat, urine, and BM's. The toxins your body sheds are not fit for your child! The best way to start losing weight while breastfeeding (just my opinion, I am not a doctor or other health professional), is, if you're eating a meal, 75% of the plate should consist of fruits and veggies, and 25% whatever you like. This method was recommended by a chiropractor in my local area. Not to mention lots of water. I am still breastfeeding (18.5 months and going strong!!!), and I have cut out wheat from my diet (checking for sensitivity in my DD). I lost six pounds right away, of course I was not a big wheat eater to begin with (and it looks like we will be continuing the wheat elimination ad infinitum). I am holding off on any other weight loss methods until she is done breastfeeding. I eat as well as I can, take probiotics and liquid chlorophyll, and that's about it for now, although I am working on a supplement schedule to benefit myself and my DD.
