Guest guest
Hi...In browsing thru some of the recent posts there's definitely some posts I'm following. I've recently turned from Cow to Soy Milk...but I look for soy that is *not* GM...of course if it doesn't say so one way or the other then I don't know. In looking for more soy milk the other day at the store I noticed so many of them contain some form of Sugar! I went with the Organic Horizons brand. I too am interested in learning more about why soy is so bad for people. I used to use it for awhile then dropped off and have started using it again. Another post I'm interested in is the high cholesterol one. My total cholesterol is 236...the good cholesterol is not too low but not too high either...the bad cholesterol has been broken down between large and small particles--my small particles are not too high which the doc said was good--and my larger particles were fairly high in number--still not good but better than having too many small particles. Can anyone give me more information on this? Sorry, I don't have my Triglycerides numbers handy. What about Homocysteine levels? Are they important? I don't know my number on this either. Meanwhile I've been diagnosed with a clogged heart artery...about 50%. I'm to go in for a Heart Cath with possibility of a drug coated stent. I won't go with a bare metal as they clog up too easily...or so I've read and heard about anyway. THEN they want to put me on Plavix for a minimum of 3 months and usually 6-12 months to prevent clotting problems from the stent. I'm really, really bad about taking meds so my husband will have to help me remember. I'm even bad about remembering to take vits/supps. I've tried to remember to take Red Yeast Rice and CoQ10 this week. Remembered 2 days in a row to take them once and forgot completely today :-o Sania
