Guest guest
Hello Gina or anyone else I will be starting on the Incurables program probably next week and I was wondering if there was anything I should be doing now to prepare for it. I have been dairy, sugar, caffiene free since January I did cheat alittle last week on vacation but basically free. I have been 75% raw for about that long too. I plan to be all raw by then actually will be fresh juicing for " as long as it " takes as Doc says. So if anyone can think of anything else I need to do to prepare for the program. I would appreciate the advise. On another subject that was being discussed a few days ago concerning Vitamin C. According to http://www.nutri.info/ Orange peels win over parsley. Although parsley does run very close which is great to know. Also on the discussion of Soy there is a file by Doc concerning why it is best to stay away from it right now. Thanks I'll be watching for responses. Dar
Guest guest
peels over parsley yes - I believe I referenced that a glass of oj or an orange isnt as high in vit c as the parsley since all the vit is IN the peel and figured most would prefer to eat some parsley on their salad to ground up orange peels though that’s only my opinion. besides- lol, would take a lot of time to grate that much orange every day rather than grab a few twigs off a parsely plant- I was just trying to be helpful is all- I like oranges but they don’t like me and the "good" oranges are pricey where I can have as much free parsley as I want from the dozens of thriving plants from one pack of seeds and I know whats all in the parsley! literally food for thought was all - just the standard thought is a glass of oj is highest form of vit c by the masses but I have found much more creative and less acidic ways to get it. enjoy melisa
Guest guest
Melisa.. actually the food with the highest vitamin C level is hot chilies.. not the typical orange. alot of people think of the orange first, but not true. Get that cayenne in you.. the lemonade recipe uses cayenne and there is no burn, you can use it in your food, drinks, smoothies.. and it is very non-invasive as far as the burn. blessings.. spot herbal remedies , " Melisa " <On_A_Quest wrote: > > peels over parsley yes - I believe I referenced that a glass of oj or an orange isnt as high in vit c as the parsley since all the vit is IN the peel and figured most would prefer to eat some parsley on their salad to ground up orange peels though that's only my opinion. besides- lol, would take a lot of time to grate that much orange every day rather than grab a few twigs off a parsely plant- I was just trying to be helpful is all- I like oranges but they don't like me and the " good " oranges are pricey where I can have as much free parsley as I want from the dozens of thriving plants from one pack of seeds and I know whats all in the parsley! literally food for thought was all - just the standard thought is a glass of oj is highest form of vit c by the masses but I have found much more creative and less acidic ways to get it. enjoy > > melisa >
Guest guest
im a sucker for hot peppers- I do use a lot of cayanne. I love it. as far as orange that’s what I was saying also- most assume they are the vitamin c resource above all and they arent, just most commonly thought of source. thanks I didn’t kno peppers were so high in vit c. I was told top 3 sources were acerillo cherries, rosehips and parsley.
