I know that Doc eats very well - much better than me and most I know, but he still does an annual cleanse. Also, you'll find that by the time people decide to go the natural route, they have a long history of diet abuse, and so need to do a few cleanses to get the body back to a good operating condition. And once the body is in a good condition, and annual cleanse to keep it there is about all it takes. The better your diet, the less you need to detox. I guess the reason we don't talk much about diet, but the cleanse instead, is that the cleanse includes a proper diet and is part of the instructions, so that you catch both at once so to speak. Doc has written many articles on various parts of our diet, and his first lecture covers that in detail. You can read his articles in the files of the group's website, and you can listen to his lecture for free on: http://www.AcademyofNaturalHealing.com The best I can advise for your fiancé is to listen to the lecture, read the articles, and then do the Total Body Cleanse, of course while improving the diet along the way according to the lecture and articles. love Lisa de Haas Senior Moderator - "neiva333" <kapolaka <herbal remedies > Wednesday, April 12, 2006 9:14 AM Herbal Remedies - High Cholesterol and High Blood Pressure > Aloha all,> > I just joined this group a few days ago and so far am LOVING it.
