Well I ended up going to the emergency room last night-I was not

feeling right at all. I got out of an epsom bath and my whole body was

shaking and my chest hurting. They ran tons of bloodwork-all came back

normal except slightly lowered potassium. They also did chest x-rays,

and cat scan of my chest/lungs/kidneys, did and ekg the whole works.

Found absolutely nothing. No reason at all for this chest tightness

and difficulty breathing. Interesting though I had a low grade fever

off and on when they checked. They said may be the onset of a

respiratory infection or something. Does this sound right to any of

you all? I am still feeling the whole chest thing which is now going

on 4 days-he said it's probably not asthma after all. I guess I will

take colloidal silver all day in case it's a viral thing---why else

would there be a fever with chest pain and difficulty breathing??? Any

help I would really appreciate--nobody has a clue.

I would get like that when my candida would flare up.

Do you take magnesium? Do you have issues with anxiety? Sometimes a difficulty with breathing is anxiety. Also, sometimes we feel we can't breathe but we really are breathing and anxious.....or not breathing because we are holding our breath.

I would go to the doctor and say I feel this tightness in my chest and they would check and it would be nothing. I would say I feel like I can't breathe and the doctor would say you don't look like you are having any difficulty. Next time it happens check to see if you are

gritting your teeth

holding your breath

doing mouth breathing

anxious, depresed, or worried

Not trying to minimize what is going on with you but I have been through this so many times. Eating good fats and oil, staying away from aspartame, msg, and nitrates, eating real foods, no caffeine, magnesium has really helped me.

I know that valerian, kava kava, and St. John's wort has done wonders for many. For me, it was a change in diet and magnesium.

Marci-

This is a healing reaction....... I chuckled a bit when I read this b/c it reminded me of my sister.... I am working with her on her asthma.... she has it about 95% of the way under control..... but when we we doing cleanses and stuff, she would get the tightness in her chest and she would call me up saying that she has pneumonia, I would laugh and explain to her about the healing reactions..... she finally understands this now... when your body is trying to heal a certain area, it will heal diseased tissue, when it does this, toxins are excreted.....sometimes this overloads your lymphatic system and detoxifying organs....and that is why you get the tightness and the pain in the chest.... that is also why you get the fever as well, your body is trying to heal itself..... believe me you will probably got a few more of these healing reactions, but they are a good thing...it is the body healing itself... and it should be viewed as a very positive thing, it lets you know that the body is starting to heal.... there are ways to avoid healing reactions though.... total tonic (Doc's formula and easy to make at home), hot/cold showers, and proper bowel movements...

Here is what I suggest.....

hot/cold showers, specifically focused on the chest area....

total tonic....

fresh ginger tea....

cayenne pepper.... (a little powder in water or tincture)

also for asthma, there is a direct connection with your intestinal tract..... I would do some extensive intestinal cleansing (read the files) and then get yourself on a good probiotic such as garden of life primal defense....

You are on the right track..... you are doing good things to get your body stimulated to heal the asthma..... my sister used to need her inhaler 3x/day....now she has used it only once or twice in the past 3-4 months... so keep up the good work.....

do something searching online for healing reactions or detox reactions....there are some good reading stuff out there to give an idea.... it took me a while to get my sister to believe that it was a healing reaction.....

good luck!!

Actually the more I thought about the chest tightening.......I remember I got it when my candida flared up and the major symptoms I had was reflux or gerd. Over 70% of all adults that have adult onset asthma it is due to reflux.

You might want to start noticing what is going on with your digestion the next time that happens.
