Guest guest
Could some one tell me what would cause one's feet to hurt and ache once their shoes are removed..........seems they are fine until the shoes are taken off and then when the pressure isn't against the foot they ache and hurt. Have done epsom salt foot bathes , but claims the skin of the feet are so sensitive the drawing action of the epsom salt even is uncomfortable, have tryed reflexology and massage techniques but still the discomfort is still there when the shoes are removed in the evenings. There are no lumps, bumps or calcium deposits, it is more the skin that is hurting when nothing tight is against it. Any ideas from the more experienced here ?? blessings, Marlene
Guest guest
my daughter had that. they never did figure out what caused it and they tried various treatments and none worked. finally they said wear only white, dye free socks, the sport kind so your feet are cushioned and dry and to buy new balance shoes. no others especially cheapos from kmart or payless. also she had to take a spare set of socks and shoes with to school and change 1/2 through the day. once she did this it stopped in a week or 2 and no trouble since. she can wear things like sandals that are all open and such but hers got real bad for a while. its thought I was from a dye in a pair of shows she had as it stained her skin a little after a rainy day and soon after she was in tremendous pain. got scary for a while her feet were bright red and then white on knuckle areas and like you shed complain more when shoes/pressure, came off. which does seem odd. who knows but this is what worked for her and no trouble at all now, completely free of medications, just a lot of shoes lol! melisa
Guest guest
I have a simliar problem. My feet hurt after I'm off of them for awhile and then try and walk. Once I'm mobile the pain goes away. My doctor (homeopathy) is baffled. I'm leaning towards toxins. I have a feeling once I'm through all my cleanses this will go away. If you find something that helps you please share it with us. thanks. Guest guest
Hi Marlene and all - I had this really bad for a few years, and then found a trigger point for a muscle spasm that got rid of it within a day or so. The trigger point for this is on the bottom of your foot, where the heel begins. So, NOT at the back of your foot, but on the other end of the heel - where it blends into the rest of the foot. The muscle you are after is really deep there, but you'll know when you find it - it will hurt like the dickens to press on it! You'll also need something hard to press on it - I use a golf ball. I put it on the floor, and then roll my foot over it so the golf ball presses in the middle of the foot there where the heel begins, and then I step down with just enough pressure to press that trigger point - and then hold it for several seconds, maybe massage a bit, if you can. As I said, if this is the problem you're having, and if you get the actual point (remember - it's a deep one), you'll know it because it will be really sore to press it! You can get more detail and pictures (and other things to explain it and try) from Clair Davies' book on self-help trigger point therapy. Look in your local public library for the book, to try it before you buy. Or see if you can find it in a used bookstore, if you want to save some money. In any case, here's a link to Amazon, so you can read more about it. Note: I have NO financial OR any other kind of interest in this book - I only recommend it because within a few weeks it helped me to get rid of several muscle-related problems (one I'd had since the late 1980's!: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1572243759/sr=8-1/qid=1144610407/ref=pd_bbs_1/1\ 03-0340695-2635854?%5Fencoding=UTF8 Good luck! Guest guest
Hi One of the many things that I have learn in this natural healing it takes several things to make one thing happen. I hurt my foot by walking to far in a pair of sandals and as time went on it was not repairing itself, I never gave much thought into the reflexology chart and I would of never put these 2 things together my colon and foot. The part of my foot that ails me is in the heal and if you look at a reflexology chart and find what part of your foot and pay attention to that organ. When my foot starts to ache in the same spot I know I am constipated, when I get the colon moving the pain goes away. Guest guest
I hear you Gina. I know my foot pain is related to liver congestion. I'm hoping once I'm through all my cleanse programs the pain will disappear.
