Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the group, but I have a lot of experience with Thrush, or Candida overgrowth. In my experience, the best way to fight the overgrowth is to cut out all sugar, white products (rice, bread, flour, etc.) and caffeine - then drink only water. Phase out meats, white products, sugar, alcohol, caffeine and dairy as much as possible. Incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet, especially those with a low glycemic index. This will raise your pH to a more alkaline level, and the Candida will not be able to thrive anymore. *Acidophilis and other probiotics are also helpful. I use Kyobiotic.* Vinegar creates a hostile environment for yeast, so wash clothes of the affected area with vinegar. Also keep the affected areas very dry (when you aren't bathing or swimming.) If these suggestions don't work for you, I can dig up a few more tricks later. I could go on and on... email me personally if you need more tips... jill ______________________Message: 17 Thu, 6 Apr 2006 07:53:12 -0400 (Eastern Daylight Time) " gabriele " <gcliburnany suggestions ???good morning .i know gina posted she was going to work on candida ...does anybody have any suggestions on how to remove it ?? i just did a google search and it is notencouraging .last year , in order to do some toxin removal , i did a bout of musinextreatment . ever since i have been having a constant yeast infection . i am going nuts scratching . i buy yeast treatment it seems like , every week .would like to try if candida treatrment would work , sisnce i have severalof the symptoms .does anybody have any suggestions ?? this is the first time i ever looked into this and the whole thing is new to me .thanksgab----------
