Guest guest
Hi All! I have a deep well that is so hard the Culligan man said he could not treat it even with their $1,500 salt based unit. I searched around and found two relatively unknown inexpensive treatment systems that work very good: The CuZn filter system works very well but the element replacement expense was too high for my fixed income. http://www.cuzn.com/ I finally went with the whole house electronic Clearwave unit and it works great. The calcium is suspended and flushed out. It removed all the white scale around faucets and future clogging of pipes. My Walmart bath soap foams well. The taste is great. My dishwasher using Cascade Complete leaves the glasses sparkling clean and spot free. http://www.fieldcontrols.com/cart/index.php?main_page=index & cPath=3 & zenid=160fca\ 48a11b81d0cda4085a2c67b063 Sometime in the future I want to experiment with using vinegar and/or Melalucca products for dishwasher soap. Once I had to clean the dishwasher with vinegar because the generic soap I was using foamed with the well water and left a brown scum on everything. I have to be careful about using vinegar because I am on a septic system and I do not want to take a chance of killing it.
