Guest guest
Hi, I'm glad I've found this group. I've been looking through past posts and have learned so much already. However, I've been unable to answer what is a big need for me and hope you all can help. I have rather severe hypoglycemia and in June of last year, completly changed my diet. No sugar, wheat, starches, etc. I lost 30# in just a few months. Now My husband and I would like to cleanse. My problem is that I notice that all mention of cleansing includes juice fasting and eating raw. With my hypo, this is impossible. I need proteins to keep my blood sugar balanced. I've thought about eating more beans (dried type), but the carbs seem to set off my hypo if I eat too many, plus do they count as cooked? How can I do a decent cleanse without nearly killing my self? Thank you!!! Shelly
Guest guest
Hello, Doc's cleanse has different gradients: the gradient you use will determine how fast and deep it will work. Raw food is optimum but not a requirement - minimum diet requirement for the total cleanse period is a strict vegan diet -absolutely nothing that came from animals; but cooking is allowed. Protein can easily be obtained from other sources. You'll find that with the Total Nutrition you are very unlikely to experience any problems in this, but if you need more, sprouted nuts are an excellent source of protein. The juice fast is only for 3 days during the liver cleanse = week 3 of the cleanse. It is very likely that your problem may already be handled by the time you get to the juice fast part. I would simply start if I were you, and see how you feel by week 3. You can always call Doc's office to get further info on that part of the cleanse if you have any concerns about it. Remember, any cleanse is better than no cleanse, so even if you only get to do the intestinal part for now, it's much better than not doing any at all!! love Lisa de Haas Senior Moderator herbal remedies , " Shelly Bourdo " <melshellbourdo wrote: > > Hi, > I'm glad I've found this group. Guest guest
In the liver cleanse juice fast, I used carrots and broccoli with garlic for lunch, and just carrot for dinner - this was fine for me as I've always loved carrot juice anyhow .. But have a look at the liver cleanse, as you drink sooo many things so frequently, that I really didnt get hungry at all. You can take more of the Total Nutrition if needed, and also you can make the Potassium Broth and you can drink as much and as often of that as you feel you need - in fact the more you drink of that, the more you'll flush through the body. The only effect I noticed of this juice fast was a conditioning of solid food which took a bit of getting used to. I've done the Total Body Cleanse 3 times last year! Certainly NO ill effects at all of the juice fast. love Lisa herbal remedies , Yvette LaPort <pylaport wrote: > > > Could you tell me what ingredients are used in teh > live juice fast. thanks > --- Lisa <lisa wrote: > > > Hello, > > > > Doc's cleanse has different gradients: the gradient > > you use will > > determine how fast and deep it will work.
