Yes, I took Red raspberry tea during both my pregnancies and both delivered in under 7 hours. I was not very popular when I commented a few times that I didn't have a lot of pain. Joy D. avast! Wait a sec, you mean you were that far along that they were trying to keep thebaby in, and they STILL did a Csec? That is sick!!!!!RamonaQuoting Melisa <On_A_Quest:> fully agree with you->> my oldest was breech and backwards not to mention a month early so they> tossed me in an ambulance to a specialty hospital and did c sect immediately.> consequently the following 2 babies were c sect.>> I never drank any teas or such but I can say I had very fast labors. my> oldest gave me all of 6-7 hours and that was start to full dialation- they> were trying to keep her from bouncing out in the ambulance!> melisa> avast! Guest guest
she was breech, backwards and early. I lived in a tiny little town that was terrified that there would be complications which is why they shipped me off to orlando. I was scared to deliver either way to be honest. my family hasn’t had great luck with childbirthing. my own mother was in the hosital for a week after I went home from being so close to death ! my water hadnt even broke with the oldest/breech one and as I understood then there were a lot of riss because my age, her prematurity, my size etc that a breeech vag delivery could have hurt one or both of us very very badly. I was also still technically a minor being 17 so I didn’t have the final say anyways. my mom is very scared when drs talk of risks. I was so sick and scared all I cared was that the baby came out healthy, however she came out as I was no longer "thinking" lol but not sure what I would have done if it was now vs then being older, more aware and educated etc. cant change the past and unless I get a lot better I wont be able to have more kids anyway. for the record tho- they botched the c from first up pretty bad or else I got same kid of infection my mom did after delivery as I was a sick puppy after and had awful periods until my 2nd was born when they removed tons of scar tissue. I felt them tear the adhesions from way up in my abdomen! that happened to my mom also- she HAD to have them removed as they were wrapping around several vitals! owie. Guest guest
Yeesh. I should frame this and show it to everyone who questions my desire for homebirth! Guest guest
true- but with how she was positioned, she was at high risk for strangling herself on her cord so even though it was miserable I could have lost her entirely with a natural birth as well as myself. cant change the past now anyways but yes- under normal circumstances I would have certainly preferred a home delivery, or better yet a water birth!
