Guest guest
Hello, I am new to the group and this is my first post! My name is Debbie. Our alternative MD put me on 5-HTP about 6 months ago. I had previously been on Lexapro. I have found that I feel SO much better taking the 5-HTP. It has helped tremendously with any anxiety and/ or depression and I am sleeping so much better. I take 100mg in the morning and 150mg at night. Someone mentioned nightmares. I have worked in pharmacy for over 20 years. A lot of the elderly patients are given Benedryl for sleep, but it causes nightmares. I was told this is because of the deep sleep you acheive while taking it. That might be the same reason some get nightmares from 5-HTP. I DID get nightmares while taking Benedryl, but have never had them with the 5-HTP. I hope this helps! Guest guest
What also helps for insomnia, Take your shoes off and step on the earths natural ground, it puts the earths natural electricity back in your body. It really works, give it a try. I learned that from readings of Dr. Christopher. Ginamy2tailwaggers wrote: Hello, I am new to the group and this is my first post! My name is Debbie.
