Guest guest
Your welcome. Thank you. I've learned a lot from the specialist, I have more encouragement from him. I had gone to 2 regular family doctors before. The 1st said I can't walk or do any exercise, but arm weights. Then the next I can do anything that won't hurt me, but no lifting heavy. They both said that I would be in pain the rest of my life and there was nothing that could be done. So when I find out I'm not as bad as they say, it gives me encouragement. Hopefully those exersises will help him. I can bend better without as much pain since I've done the exercises 2 days in a role. I'm going to try to do the exercises twice today (some you do twice, some not). I also take valarian root at night for my back to relax so I can sleep, otherwise it is always spasming (it spasms during the day, but I don't notice it as much, since I'm not trying to sleep), but I have taken it during the day too when I'm hurting bad and it is spasming bad. He might try that also. I also drink Sweet Dreams by Bigelow or Sleepytime by Celestial Seasonings at night to relax my back to help me sleep. He might try that too. In another group I'm in this lady who has a bad back says she takes Aleeve in the morning & in the evening & she says she has found that the best for the pain. Also she takes 400 I.U. of Vitamin D (200 in morning & 200 in evening). She says she has seen xrays showing that the vitamin D reverses osteoposis. I haven't heard about taking vitamin D for back pain or it reversed osteoposis, have you? I go so my doctor on the 6th and see what he says. I'm going to ask him a lot of questions too. I'm bring both my MRI results (I as them to send me a copy of the results whenever I have one done) and have him explain to me what all it means, because I think it is my right to know what it all means. Don't you? My last 2 doctors said they couldn't read them. But I've learned to go to a specialist for back problems. Has your friend gone to a specialist or a regular doctor? Thank you. I'm feeling better, I've just got to learn not to overdo it like I did yesterday. I hope your friend gets to feeling better too, gets some help & relief from the pain. Have they put him on any kind of steroid or arthritus pill or anything like that? Take care & have a great day!
