Guest guest
Sorry, I forgot to mention in my last post that I am a mother of five children, one of whom has cystic fibrosis. We use hypertonic saline to instigate a cough but I don't think that would be wise for an asthma baby because of the risk of bronchospasm. I just worry so much about little ones with asthma getting stablized . I have heard of people who use tea tree oil to prevent problems related to colds that start in the sinuses . Maybe that would help to prevent the respiratory infections from getting to his lungs. Wishing you and your baby a peaceful night from another mom. Guest guest
I used to have asthma, used to...I dont have it at all anymore, I went from using an enhaler two or three times a day, to nothing. If he is having an attack, use his meds that the dr prescribed for him, asthma is life threatening as you know.everyday, as often as you want to (2-4times?) massage his arms, the inside of his elbow, if you were to imgaine a line connecting the shoulder joint, the inside of the elbow and the inside corner of your thumb nail...... that is the line to massage.Sorry this is not a great explanation, but it is based on accupressure. You could google it (lung meridian) or get a book about accupuncture if you wanted to. You are massaging the lung meridian. You could take him to an accupuncturist...but I have told many many people about this remedy, and everyone that has done it, has had a lessening of symptoms. My exhusband would even massage my arm during an attack, and it would lessen it.I just found after time, that I didn't have attacks as often, and then not at all.Now I get colds, I cough, but the asthma doesn't come back. I don't use any asthma meds at all. HTHZahra New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC for low, low rates.
