Guest guest
Hi, My 16yo son injured his shoulder around the middle of January. He's not sure how he did it but he's still having pain when he tries to use it very much. ( I waas thinking that maybe he pulled a muscle or injured a ligament when he was lifting weights.) I had him wear a sling for the first two weeks and I thought it was getting better but everytime he uses it very much it starts to hurt again. I'm a single mom and we don't have any medical insurance (not that I believe in MD's). But I'm begining to worry that it's really serious because it doesn't seem to be improving. At 16 my son has never been to a doctor (he was born at home with a mid-wife) and I give him herbs if I think he is trying to catch a cold or something. We also eat mostly organic foods. I sure would appreicate any suggestions on what I can do to help his shoulder heal. He's very discouraged because he plays Hockey and was ready to take his Black Belt test in Karate and now he is not able to do either. I also would like an idea as to how long I should limit his using his right arm. Now when he uses it it hurts. Are there herbs that he can take or rubs I should be using? Guest guest
Check out the Deep Tissue Repair Oil and the Bone,Flesh & Cartilage tincture, both described in the files. Also hot/cold therapy, whereby you alternate hot and cold, either in the shower or with a hot and cold pack. In the shower, do 1 min each 5 x, with a pack, do 10 mins each 3 x, ending with hot in each. love Lisa de Haas Senior Moderator herbal remedies , stanchnmotion <stanchnmotion wrote: > > Hi, > > My 16yo son injured his shoulder around the middle of January.
