Guest guest
He needs the cough to get all that nasty stuff out of system! If you stop the cough you stop the healing process, drinking lots of water helps to get the stuff out with the cough, but the only way to stop this is by controlling the asthma so he is comfortable. Something is triggering the asthma and the list can be long. The more obvious are dusty carpets, dusty beds and so on.Good luck, luisYvette LaPort <pylaport wrote: Hey, I am fairly new here. Guest guest
Hi, In the files, Doc recommends: Lobelia, Panther Piss (now called Body Balance) and the Total Body Cleanse. Check the file: Ailments and herbal remedies. Also check out the " 150 rule " which tells you how to dose for a child. love Lisa de Haas Senior Moderator herbal remedies , Yvette LaPort <pylaport wrote: > > Hey, I am fairly new here. Guest guest
Yes, but a lot of cough syrups contain alcohol, and I distinctly remember using a drug (paregoric) now banned (rightfully), for colic and teething for our 4 children. I recall holding my daughter and swinging her for hours at night, at her crib, while my wife napped and occasionally brought another cup of coffee. I don't know a "cure" for coughing, a natural action. Guest guest
my 2 cents only but you want the guck to come out yes, but you don’t want to be constantly hacking creating a raw throat, sore abs etc and sleeplessness as rest is important. I didn’t realize it was a baby though - thought it was a child so I guess the honey is out. I just recently got a recipe for "candies" but they are really herbal cough and cold meds for kids but with my pc issues I cant find which folder I tucked it away in but will post when I find it.
