Doc:

I know you have your personal preference for a juicer (Champion, I believe?) to make the different juices and cleanses for fasts and whatnot.

And of course, everyone needs a blender for making tinctures!

What is your opinion of the VitaMix?

Thanks for all you do!

I'm not doc, but I thought I'd put my two cents in.

I just bought a good blender. I looked at several, but ended up

buying a BlendTec Total blender (I'm not connected with sales of

this product in any way). I LOVE it! I haven't used it yet for

tinctures, but...

Hummus - it processed the creamiest, smoothest hummus I've ever made

in just a couple of minutes

Sprouts - I like to blend sprouts in water for a cool drink. This

blender blends it enough that it's like drinking water. No chunks

of herbs at all.

Smoothies - it makes the smoothest smoothies. My old blender always

left chunks of ice or frozen fruit

I've used it to finely chop onion, peppers and garlic for chili.

I've used it to blend butternut squash soup. I have absolutely no

complaints about it. It is, however, loud on higher speeds.
