Yvonne,

You have reason to be concerned. Although your husband's total

choleserol number looks good, his ration of HDL to LDL is not good.

If you divide the HDL into the total cholesterol you get the ratio.

Right now he has 1 HDL for about every 5 LDL. There are so many

things you can do, especially if it is diet related, but before going

into all that, how receptive is he going to be to dietary changes?
