Guest guest
Hello, I'm looking for some advice and information. We spend a small fortune on herbal remedies, and would like to use many more for various maladies. My husband suggested that we build a greenhouse and I grow our own herbs, saving us some money, and being certain of what we are getting. Is this possible, feasible, advisable? If so, where would I begin to gather information on completing this project? Are there only certain herbs that I could grow here in the US? If I grow them, do we then dry them, make tea, tincture, etc., or is it best to use them in their "raw" state? Thank you for any and all help. Guest guest
Wow, wish I could build a greenhouse or was you neighbor---haha. Growing your own herbs is cheaper but is more work. Get seeds free or cheap from seed trades...there are groups that do that. On building a greenhouse, check out plans on line, I have seen many. As far as I know you can grow any herbs that are now illegal. Where are you located? Susan in kyBrian and Mary-Belle Simmons <simmons wrote: Hello, I'm looking for some advice and information.
