Guest guest
Alice, Do a fairly complete search on Maca, and up your calcium/mag doses. There is a file here called lemon egg. It's to make your own calcium magnesium and it is very good. There are many herbs you can use to treat the symptoms, but getting to the root is the key. Typically, menstral cramping, specifically, is caused by inadequate calcium levels, whether you take it and are unable to assimilate it, or a lack of a source. Makes total sense when you understand that an acidic diet uses up calcium in the desperate attempt to alkalize the body. And even more so when the endocrine system (hormonal glands) is responsible for distributing calcium. This is why remedies containing calcium, or aid in the distribution of it, helps to stop cramps. Other organs do try to pick up the slack, but in so doing compound the problems. You should hang out here for awhile as there are many more things you should do to improve your overall health. Maca does treat the cause, not the symptom. It balances the hypothalamus gland, which, contrary to popular belief, is the master gland of the body. This in turn balances the adrenals, thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, pituitary, thymus gland, pineal body, overies and testes and basically the entire endocrine system. It can take months to accomplish this, even with Maca. A good source for it after you have researched it, even though it is a food (tuber, potatoe like) and not an herb, is mountainroseherbs.com. You will also HAVE to organic for ALL of your food sources because between the pesticides, hormones and hormone related antibiotics on all of the inorganic foods will leave your hypothalamus in a constant need of balancing. Plastics too are endocrine (hormonal) disrupters. http://www.nrdc.org/health/effects/qendoc.asp fft n herbal remedies , " Wolf " <whitewolf1 wrote: > > Hello! I'm new here and I have a few questions. I've been diagnosed with PCOS(poly cystic ovarian syndrome) and hadn't had my monthly for over 6 months. The doctor gave me pills to make me start it and my cramps have been absolutely awful. Does anyone know anything i can take to ease the pain? And possiably help with the PCOS? > > Thanks so much! > > Alice >
