Guest guest
Hi! I've just found this sight and hope it can help me answer questions about my alcohol allergy. I did not have an allergist figure this out, but through my own trial and error... My allergist says this is very rare, and doesn't seem to be able to help much. I'm looking to talk to someone else who may be dealing with this. I have severe sinusitis when I ingest any form of alcohol. When applied topically, there is no initial reaction (except my nose itching). I will have an attack of sinusitis later, though. At present, I am taking a load of anti- histamines and trying to avoid alcohol (and salicylates) but it is so hard. Anybody out there want to give me any advice? Thanks! Guest guest
as i know is that this allergy is an auto immune disease & the allergy you have is simillar to that people have from penicillins & pollen grains ,there's atechnique called desenstization used to decrease such allergy , so you may ask your physician if can be useful in your case or not?! if not useful ,you have to avoid the alcohols & Salicylates totally Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments. I was highly sensitive to grass and mold and pine and dust mites and dog dander (anything natural that is inhaled). It seemed to happen suddenly, but the reaction was a killer 3-day migraine about 24hours after exposure. Because it seemed to be from a wacked out body I didn't take the prescriptions. Instead, I wore a respirator mask for two years. I wish I had known about the cleanses!!! All those inhalants still give me a headache but it isn't near as bad as it was. It didn't show up on any allergist's skin test either. I had to figure it out for myself. Stay away from alcohol and do the body cleanses. Let your body repair itself and feed it right. You can also make the body balance - Doc's recipies are all in the files Monica
