Guest guest
--- I use olive oil that I have allowed 1 clove of garlic to set in for about 3 days or so, remove garlic, add about 10 drops each of essential oils of eucalyptus, lavender, and Ti tree. This is what we use for ear drops. I also use onion poultices on my kids' ears when they are infected. Just cook 2 onions (1 would be sufficient for a baby) in some grease ( any kind:olive oil, goose grease, vegetable oil) until clear and beginning to brown, about 6-8 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper towels. Immediately place in very thin cloth (like flannel) and close up. When still very warm but NOT hot (check by placing poultice on your wrist) lay on affected ear and leave for at least one hour. It is best to do this when baby is asleep. We have used this very successfully with an older child and it pulled all of the infection out of ear overnight. use poultice, then place drops in ear, add cotton, remove cotton after awhile. Hope this helps.
