Guest guest
I was talking to my cousin the other day, who was very grateful I called, as she had fallen asleep again on her couch in her den. It seems lately, that she gets hit with extreme fatigue about a week before her cycle, the week of her cycle and almost a week after her cycle. All told, she is looking at anywhere from 15-20 days of heavy fatigue during the month. I myself and my 17 y/o daughter, get the heavy fatigue the first day of our cycles. Is there anything to take that can help this? My cousin is by far worse off than we are. SHe is 39, and is positive she is starting her change. I am 40, and I am sure I am not. I have a little one that isn't a year old yet. TIA, Stacy
Guest guest
Hi Stacy, i would recommend her finding a good progesterone cream. and use it starting about day 12 of her cycle until her period starts. Evening primrose might be of some use too. herbal remedies , " Stacy Wilson " <dragn_lady wrote: > > I was talking to my cousin the other day, who was very grateful I > called, as she had fallen asleep again on her couch in her den. Guest guest
Wow, 39 and going through the change already? That's a little young, but then, everyone is different. I would do the acupuncture thing. It sounds like the meridians are out of balance. I stimulated acupoints and it was amazing the amount of energy I got back, and also the fact that I do NOT cramp or get real tired during my cycles anymore like I used to when I was much younger! Also, if she's a beef-eater, it might be a good idea to have her abstain from meat for at least one week before her cycle is expected to begin. For some reason, beef has one heck of an effect, ranging from fatigue to the PMS mood swings to cramps (especially the PMS and cramps!) to body temperature regulation. I know not everyone is a big fan of soy, due to the fact that it's tough to know whether or not it's truly organic, even when it says it is, but I've been consuming soy for a while now, and I say that the estrogen compounds in soy have had an AWESOME effect on my cycles--bringing down my cramps and such. It used to be that I would know about 3 days before mine would begin...now it sneaks up on me! The downside is that sometimes I'm surprised and unprepared, but the upside (which weighs far greater for me) is that the symptoms are nil! My family thinks I'm easier to be around, too. I practice all of the above advice, and my cycles are getting better as I age. I feel so much better and I also don't have near the bloating, either. Just some ideas, hope they help ~jyoti herbal remedies , " Stacy Wilson " <dragn_lady wrote: > > I was talking to my cousin the other day, who was very grateful I > called, as she had fallen asleep again on her couch in her den.
