Tim,

First off, congratulations on your bravery in doing what you need to do.

Secondly, I would certainly begin, at least a month before your surguries, to really get your inner body clean. Read the files about cleansing, there is some good stuff there. Also I would increase your vitamin C intake up to around 3000 mg/day (or bowel tolerance) and keep it there through your surgury date.

I think that there is a tissue repair formula in the files as well, and that may be great to either begin before surgury or at least have ready for post surgury.

Hope that helps a bit.

PS- I think you are only supposed to take echinacea for 2 -3 weeks on, then off for a while.

Herbal Remedies - post surgical healing

I am a preoperative female to male transexual. I've been on androgensfor a few years and live in a male identity. Starting in a month Iwill begin surgery. I will have chest reconstruction, a hystorectomy, and an 11 stage phalloplasty procedure. From past patients, I'velearned that minor infections are very common and sometimes majorinfections do occurrequiring long term IV antibiotic therapy. I really hate the thoughtof antibiotics but will have to have them if it's at the point of noreturn. I have been starting on echinacea and magnetic rings and feet clips.Does anyone know about these treatments being useful in post surgicalrecovery? Thanks - Tim
