I am a preoperative female to male transexual. I've been on androgens

for a few years and live in a male identity. Starting in a month I

will begin surgery. I will have chest reconstruction, a hystorectomy,

and an 11 stage phalloplasty procedure. From past patients, I've

learned that minor infections are very common and sometimes major

infections do occur

requiring long term IV antibiotic therapy. I really hate the thought

of antibiotics but will have to have them if it's at the point of no

return.

I have been starting on echinacea and magnetic rings and feet clips.

Does anyone know about these treatments being useful in post surgical

recovery? Thanks - Tim

Tim... I dont know about post-surgical recovery with these but I do

know that I would be careful with the dosing of echinacea. Short term

it can be wonderful, but in my experience, used long term the immune

system can just " bottom-out " which can leave you open to all kinds of

problems. I have much better results with the 'total tonic' in the

files.. taken daily. Garlic and the other ingrediants are natural

infection fighters and 'no risk'.

blessings to you Tim..
