Guest guest
I have finally recently been diagnosed with IC (Interstitial Cystitis) after years of pain and problems. I practically begged my doctors to diagnose me but they never even mentioned this disease. I finally saw an ad in a magazine, desparte and at the end of my rope many times over, and took it in with me to one of my doctors. Why is this disease so overlooked by doctors and they seem to have a disdain for women with these problems? What causes it? Does anyone have any alternative remedies for it? I have suffered with it for so long and it just gets worse. Diet is helping me to cope now but I feel if doctors had diagnosed me earlier, I could have a handle on it better and not gone through years of needless suffering and perhaps the progressivness of it. Any thoughts? TY.
