Guest guest
Hi. I've been lurking for a while now, and likely will be for the foreseeable future. I have a full plate until June, but then I plan to make a proper intro. I just had to break my lurker status to comment on this. I don't know about dehydration causing high blood pressure, but I do know that when I get dehydrated my blood pressure plummets. I get dizzy and a little nauseous and if I don't take care of it really fast, I pass out. This doesn't happen real often, but something I have dealt with since grade school. I only just found out a couple of years ago exactly what was going on when it happened while I was at work. There was a nurse and paramedics, it was a little embarrasing really. But they told me my BP was very low, and probably due to dehydration. Ever since then, whenever I get dizzy, I'm hitting the Gatorade (I'm not a water-drinker, but at least I avoid anything caffeinated). I just realized this is a little longer than I intended, almost bordering on rambling. I just found it interesting that dehydration can cause high BP just as much as too low BP. herbal remedies , Gina Kopera <ginakopera1 wrote: > > From what I understand, it main cause is from dehydration.
