Guest guest
How does everyone feel about this store, there is a new one coming pretty close to me, and I am wondering if it is worth it to make the trip. Thanks, Kristi
Guest guest
I love Trader Joe's - great organics and lots to choose from at great prices. Like every store these days, not all is worth buying. They have organic fruits and veggies, organic teas and coffees and everything inbetween. They also have a huge selection of wines and gourmet goodies. We lived 15 minutes from one back home and I am now 6 hours from one in our new state and missing it tremendously. When we go back for a visit - I am going to stock up and bring my favorites back on the plane with me! Incidentally, where is the new one coming in - wonder if it is near me? LisaB! Guest guest
Personally, I adore Trader Joes. I shop there weekly. They aren't primarily a health food store, but they do carry a large line of organic foods, as well as hormone-free meats, etc. Price-wise, they're very reasonable. In fact, I can get a loaf of organic, sprouted bread there for about the same price as a loaf of wheat in the regular grocery store! -Raine DebateReality wrote: How does everyone feel about this store, there is a new one coming pretty close to me, and I am wondering if it is worth it to make the trip. -- Swap Your Paperback Books - PaperBackSwap.com
Guest guest
Kristi, I used to live down the street from the original store in South Pasadena, CA. If you like dried fruits and nuts (and a wide selection) and semi-gourmet foods at good prices, you will like this store. They walk the line between health food store and supermarket, and their prices are good. I wish we had one closer than 70 miles, and I would be there more often. Guest guest
Thanks, I was going to head down there today, but they cancelled my son's preschool. It is kinda funny since there was only a very light dusting of snow, and being from Massachusetts, I thought it was hilarious.
