Guest guest
Greetings; I need to find an effective herbal remedy for my bp. Recently it increased from 120/70 +/- to 160/100. I have done some research, but I'd rather find something from someone who has actually had success with a specific herb. Thanks.

Guest guest
I don't know about just one specific herb, but here's what hubby did: Went on the Blood Type Diet, takes Doc's Total Tonic, and has Cayenne tincture in water every other day. Doesn't get much easier than that. He just had it re-checked on Friday, and it has dropped significantly in 1 month....enough to have the nurse ask him what he was doing. There's some humor in this as well...we are not " doctoring " kind of people - the ONLY reason he went for a physical in the first place is that the DOT requires it. (We have a trucking business.) Because they had no record on him, he had to pay for his physical up front. Anyway, his blood pressure was rather high - enough that the doctor threatened medication. The physical was approved short-term only. We received a bill in the mail last week for over $300. It did not show any credit at all. Well, this bothered hubby for 4 long days....and I could not accomplish anything over the phone. He finally went over there Friday afternoon, mad as a wet hornet, and after he got everything straightened out, they wanted to re-check his BP. That was not the right time to do that, but turned out it was much lower anyway. Just imagine how low it is on a normal day! Guest guest
It's " Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type " by Dr. D'Adaamo. I'm almost certain you could find it on Amazon. He now also has additional books out: Cook Right, Live Right, and a Health Encyclopedia. There is also a website with a forum and tons of information: www.dadamo.com Jeanne >Message: 25 > Mon, 20 Feb 2006 16:14:43 +0000 (GMT) > pam couchman <freya_freya2000 >Re: Re: Herbal remedy needed for my recently diagnosed high bp > >Sorry could you tell me what the blood type diet is please. Guest guest
Pammie, The blood type diet is based on what blood type you are. I am an " O " so I am supposed to eat a lot of meat. I found the book at http://www.campusi.com/bookFind/default.asp this link will help you find any book at the best price. As for Cayenne, it is a pepper, I buy mine in capsule form. In the US I have found it in bulk also & you put it in capsules yourself. If you have a " mexican food " section in your stores there you can find it in bags. I am sure if you do a search you could find it in your country here is a link to an ebay seller that sells to the UK http://cgi.ebay.com/CAYENNE-HERB- TINCTURE_W0QQitemZ5666850918QQcategoryZ101965QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQ cmdZViewItem good luck. Guest guest
Unless you're allergic to either one, there is no reason why you cannot take them at the same time. If you want to, simply take them several hours apart.
