If you want to clear things out from the inside of the intestines, I'd gravitate toward digestive herbs. What we really need to do is look at how this manifests such as any abnormal quality in the stools or gas or some other bowel issue. When my husband was very ill (literally dying before our eyes), he had the most horrible foul smelling gas all the time.
