neck spur or osteoarthritis

Hi Jeanne :)

Three words: chiropractic, chiropractic, chiropractic :)

I have been seeing a chiropractor semi-regularly since I was 14. I

went to one when I was 2 and he straightened out a club foot I

didn't know I had till my momma told me I did and it'd gotten

straightened out.

Chiropractic is very safe. It feels a little funny at first, when

your bones move back into place, and you might be a bit sore for a

day or two after as your muscles readjust to your changing

structure, but it feels wonderful. Chiropractors know MUCH more

about bones, muscles, and the rest of the whole body (including all

of its functions) than a medical doctor! They will be able to tell

you what condition you have. It may even be nothing more than a

vertebra that has rotated out of position and is pinching a nerve or

feels like a knot or something. You never know. If you have ANY

further questions, feel free to ask me anything at all. Off list is

probably better; I'll get the message faster.

Massage goes really well with chiropractic. The bones end up

wherever the muscles put them, so have a massage before your

adjustment--the closer to your adjustment, the better. And have

massage in between adjustments to keep the muscles relaxed and

prevent them from pulling your vertebrae back out of place.

Hope that helps!

Peace,

~Jyoti
