Guest guest
Since I am having teeth problems, I have been reading up on the subject. So here is one thing that I read that makes a lot of sense. If you are having teeth problems, stop eating refined sugar and white flour, because those substances are lacking the nutrients needed to metabolize them and the nutrients then have to come from somewhere else (your teeth and your bones). To put it another way, sugar and floor provide calories which give you energy, but to get that energy, other substances are needed like calcium and magnesium, etc. that gets robbed from your teeth and bones. Well I didn't eat much refined sugar, but I have cut back to none. No chocolate, no pastries, no white bread at the restaurant when you are starving (find a different restaurant that serves something else while you wait), etc. Despite some major teeth situations, I am feeling somewhat better and no one has drilled anything so far. Guest guest
For teeth, you might want to look into the findings of Weston A Price (a dentist), in his book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. There is also a foundation named after him. Also Gerald Judd has a web-site on tooth health, with lots of free advice (he has booklets for sale too). Both are easy to find with a search on the 'net. Guest guest
I fully believe that doing just this one thing...stop eating refined sugar and flours...would help more health problems than any other single thing! I can't tell you how many times I have seen someone recently whom I haven't seen since before I changed my diet only to hear them exclaim about how good I look. They all say the same thing...everything about me looks better, my coloring, complexion, hair, etc. They all want to know why, but when I tell them, I just know that they aren't going to get it. They just don't understand that this same astounding change cam happen to them...if they'd only change what they put in their bodies. herbal remedies , Doug Hogg <doug wrote: > > Since I am having teeth problems, I have been reading up on the subject. > > So here is one thing that I read that makes a lot of sense. > > If you are having teeth problems, stop eating refined sugar and white > flour, because those substances are lacking the nutrients needed to > metabolize them and the nutrients then have to come from somewhere > else (your teeth and your bones). > > To put it another way, sugar and floor provide calories which give > you energy, but to get that energy, other substances are needed like > calcium and magnesium, etc. that gets robbed from your teeth and bones. > > Well I didn't eat much refined sugar, but I have cut back to none. Guest guest
I suggest you also look into the balance betweent the minerals magnesium, potassium and calcium.. you need magnesium to absorb calcium and to much of one, will cause problems with the others.. You can just google all three and get lots of info.
