Guest guest
This is a post from a friend of mine. She really doesn't have the money to see a doctor. Does anyone have any ideas? What's Wrong With Me? Jan 30, 2006 I keep getting weak and getting the shakes alot, even though I'm eating a little do you think that sounds like a blood sugar thing? Like I had 1/2 cup of coffee and 3/4 of a waffle for breakfast at 7ish this morning and it's 9:30 and I've already got the shakes and feeling bad. Do you think that's normal? I've always gotten sick if I don't eat pretty regular, but never this bad. Anyone with any suggestions please let me know. I don't really want to go to the dr and do a bunch of tests, etc. But I may have to this time.
Guest guest
Everything that you consume this morn all turns to acid in your body, do total alkaline food or live juice. You will see a change. Ginasheshinee <sheshinee wrote: This is a post from a friend of mine. She really doesn't have themoney to see a doctor. Does anyone have any ideas? What's Wrong With Me? Guest guest
This is for your friend: From a purely nutritional standpoint, you fed your body absolutely nothing it can use to be healthy. While the debate about caffeine goes on, I think we can all agree that coffee offers little of nutritional value. As for the waffle, I assume that it was a standard, white flour/sugar/hydrogenated fat/salt kind of waffle, probably served with an hydrogenated fat butter substitute and syrup made from high fructose corn syrup plus assorted other sugars (or worse, artificially sweetened). Not only does this kind of waffle with this kind of toppings offer nothing nutritionally, it actually damages your body. Now, if you'd had 1/2 cup of coffee and 3/4 of a homemade, 100% whole grain (preferably sprouted grain), a small amount of honey, olive oil, etc. with some nuts and seeds sprinkled on top while cooking, and topped with real butter and sliced fresh fruit and perhaps a drizzle of real maple syrup....well, then you've nourished your body. Try eating something like that and see if you get the shakes. herbal remedies , sheshinee sheshineewrote: > This is a post from a friend of mine. She really doesn't have the > money to see a doctor. Guest guest
I agree about eating some protein in the morning, to keep you energy up. For me it's good to have some complex carbs, too, but not sugar or refined carbs, of course. Cinnamon is supposed to help keep your blood sugar even, too. (ie: no waffle, especially with syrup!) I've found, though, that if I do have a pancake (multi-grain, with maple syrup), I'll do much better if I have some eggs, too! Otherwise, it's sugar-crash, for sure! Here's to balance! : ) Scott. herbal remedies , " Marci " <twilli55 wrote: > > coffee in the morning will cause a low blood sugar fit if you don't > eat protein first--believe me!!
