Guest guest
Could you do the same thing with organic lemons? Or does it need to be oranges. I eat more lemons and limes than oranges and it is hard to find them here. Jeanne

Guest guest
I tried it.. I dried them and left them pretty much whole, take a piece off and just chew..its actually very sweet. Now I did grind some, but its a pain with my blender. LOL so they store well, and taste dandy. was a great Idea I think.. Guest guest
Jeanne.. sometimes we just leave on the counter to air dry for a few days, or warm the oven 150-200 and then shut off and stick them in for a couple hours. you can grind with a mortar pestle or coffee grinder for toothpowder but for tea and stuff i leave them in strips and just add a few to taste. you can also use your grater! blessings.. spot herbal remedies , jeanne_simons@c... wrote: > > Thanks! Guest guest
I have been using orange, lemons when I can get them, lime and tangerine peels for many years. Guest guest
I slivered them, then left them on the table on a paper towel for a few days. When I could easily break them (dry enough), I put them in the " coffee " grinder that I use for herbs and ground them into a powder. We just add it to juice. herbal remedies , " Judith " <sr1216@d...> wrote: > > I tried it.. Guest guest
Yes, you can dry the grapefruit, lemons, limes, limas (if you can get them in your area) and also tangerine peels. In fact any citrus peel. Be well, Megannever_again_ <never_again_ wrote: I had the same question.
