I have been taking Prilosec for years, and Estratest - I am weaning myself from these medications - My bloodwork from Dec 30th - I just got results (lab got them to me before the dr lol)

out of range - Alkaline phosphatase, Serum - 176 - there range is 25-150

AST - 159 there range is 0-40

ALT -122 there range is 0-40

Cholesterol came down - total cholesterol is 185 which for me is a miracle and I did this without lipitor or zocor - HDL is 63 which is not too bad their range is 40-59 LDL is 17 which is good.

Lymphs was off by one digit 47 their norm is 14-46

C-Reactive Protein (Cardiac) is 5.74 their norm is 0.0-3.0

Everything else on here seems to be within normal limits - my H-Pylori came back negative.

I have had liver stuff come back funky before (more than once) and have been tested for hep - I do believe it is the medicines I take that does this, but this seems to be the highest I have seen them come back.

If you read all the medical crap you will scare yourself to death. My guess is Prilosec is the culprit - I am not a drinker (I do like my apricot brandy in my peach herbal tea in the winter) - but perhaps Wellbutrin or Ambien or Xanax is to blame for the increased numbers. I am going off of these too - u can bet on that one! But the Xanax I take maybe one a day - I have already halved the dose of Welbutrin.

How alarmed should I be? I think they should at least send me for a cardiac stress test - would be more concerned about that then my liver, however, I do think a liver cleanse is in order - what is the best way to do this with simple things I can easily get that will not stress out my body too much. Remember, I also have the fibromyalgia

Another good question - could any of the supplements I take be doing this - Glucosamine/

Chondrointin/MSM, foic acid, vitamin B complex, Vitamin c Vitamin b12 and omega 3 capsules?

Thanks

Katherine
