BTW have you attended Deke Kendall's lecture? Based on knowledge and little bit of experience, that is several post graduate classes in Neurobiology, Endocrinology and lots of physiology, also published in Metobolic Brain Disease... I would have to say that there is ALLOT of validity as to what Deke Kendall had to share. When a needle is inserted into the skin, the body has a physiological response, that is a given. Guest guest
Hello Guy & * Calcium citrate may have a longer half life in theblood, it may get there faster, however the purpose ofsupplementation in this case is to increase bonedensity.>>>I have seen data that suggest either way. Again some claim that AAAca (lane labs) is the best but it is very expensive. In general however, CA has been disappointing in preventing fractures which is the only true criteria that is important Alon

Guest guest
Hi Diane, The best source for calcium as well as all other nutrients is in Quality grown Fresh fruits and vegetables. The cole family of Cabbage, Broccoli, and Brussel Sprouts contain the highest and give the best results for good health. If these are cooked, you must drink the Broth, for this contains the most minerals then, as they are leached out by the cooking process. Now with the above shared, to get to your question: There are many types of calcium on the market with many prices and many claims as to what is best. So it depends on your choice and belief and your budget. What I have found to be the Cheapest source of good calcium for most people is plain ole Oystershell calcium, But one must drink it down with a pinch of Epsom salt disolved in the water , for the max. benifit. Regulate the amount of epsom salt to just enough so as not to have it cause you to get the scoots or runs from it, but so your bowels work proper for you. I could share stories from people who have done this simple way of taking additional calcium for themselves which would fill this whole forum full , of their almost unbelivable results. You have to try it yourself and see. The key to solving your problems of aches and pains of all sorts, is to not listen to anyone , but yourself, You be the sole judge of how much to take, if you are having aches and pains you are not taking enough to cut the bodys acidity (( for all aches and pains are mostly the result of the body being too acidic)), and need to increase the amount you take. This is hard for most people to believe, but try it for your self and then report back with your results. When a person is sick and very acidic it takes hugh amounts of alkaline minerals to neutralize the body acids. I have personally known people, especially pregnant women to need to take 30,000mg or more of calcium a day, taken thru out the day to total this amount, to cut the body acids because they were not eating the proper foods, so they no longer had the normal aches and pains of child rearing. Women require 700 times more calcium to stay healthy than men do!! Smile Tis your choice now as to how you feel, by what you do. herbal remedies , Teddyberen@A... wrote: > > Any recommendations on which Calcium Supplements to take? > Thanks > Diane M >
