partial obstruction/stricture in small intestine

My father aged 64 is having the problem of partial obstruction/stricture in

small intestine since dec 2008. After every 3 months the intestine blocks and

have to be opened by coservative treatment. Now doctor are advising a surgery.

Kindly advise if there is any treatment to remove this obstruction without

surgery.

please help!!
