Guest guest
Lyme Disease is called " The Great Imposter " because it mimics almost all diseaese out there. A study of patients whom had Parkinson's for example - they all tested positive for Lyme Diseae. And studies have found that more then half of those diagnosed with MS have Lyme Disease - I have a friend whom was diagnosed with Mulitiple Chemical Sensitivities or MCS decades ago who also have 2 heart attacks about 5 years ago - last year she was diagnosed with Lyme Diseaes and they said that that is what caused her heart attacks. I have ME and MCS [since 1988] and had a small stroke last fall - a few months later I was diagnosed with a co-infection of Lyme Disease - evidently the stroke was caused by a co-infection of Lyme Disease. So yes - the strep throat could be caused by Lyme Disease. There are actually many things that people use to cure Lyme Disease and its co-infections. Seasalt and vitamin C is a good one - there is a for that but they also discuss other treatments there too such as colloidal silver, herbs, teasel, etc http://health.lymestrategies/ Here are some urls for information about the salt/vitamin C protocol The Salt and Vitamin C Treatment Printable Treatment protocol http://www.lymephotos.com/printableprotocol.html Salt/Vitamin C Protocol how much salt and vitamin C to take and how. http://www.lymephotos.com/index.shtml Frequently Asked Questions http://www.lymephotos.com/faq/index.html History and Policy http://www.lymephotos.com/update.html Why This Works http://www.lymephotos.com/theory/index.html Last Word more about why salt works http://www.lymephotos.com/lastword/index.html MAIN PAGE http://www.lymephotos.com/ FAQ http://www.lymephotos.com/faq/index.html Oral Salt Therapy for Lyme Diseaese illustrates how this protocol works http://www.townsendletter.com/Jan2005/Lyme_chart8.pdf New Salt/Vitamin C Protocol This new protocol was developed using the underlying principals of the Salt/Vitamin C protocol, with therapeutic substitutions which are less likely to have any side effects. Many people have gastric problems taking mega doses of Vitamin C (nausea, belly-ache, cramps and diarrhea) and using sodium chloride can cause even more dangerous side effects such as high blood pressure, bloating and swelling. http://www.neuro-lyme.com/New_Salt_Protocol.html Here are some urls to info about some herbs - though I think the person whom has Lyme Disease would be better of joining a group for those with Lyme Disease and asking the members what has worked for them. blessings Shan , " AlinaT " <tavyndavid wrote: > > is there anything out there that is natural that can be used for someone who has lyme disease. > > I have a family member that has been diagnosed with it last week he also has strep throat do these usually come together? > > > thanks >
Guest guest
I am interested to know if anyone has had this, what they did if antibiotics did not work or if there was an unusual way they got Lyme Disease. Two girls, going to China, both got Lyme right after receiving shots for the trip. Any thoughts on other ways people can get Lyme. Sometimes city dwellers get this and it just cannot always be ticks....Lynn Koiner
