Guest guest
I injured myself in a car accident. I have a fracture in my shoulder, sternum and a rib in a car accident. The pain varies by day. What supplements are recommended for bone repair? Any other suggestions are welcome. David
Guest guest
Above all, magnesium and calcium, in approximately a 2:1 ratio in favor of magnesium. The best form of magnesium is magnesium taurate for oral use. For transdermal use, magnesium chloride is recommended. Guest guest
I am new here and do not know if this forum advocates the use of some herbal supplements. But in the 80's I was in a car wreck breaking several major bones.(pelvis, hip, ribs) I had a good friend who brought me comfrey tea every day. Although I was in traction for several weeks, I feel the comfrey really helped me heal much faster that I would have. The accident was on New Year's eve and by August I was back packing in Mexico. Read about comfrey first, there are some who say to use it with caution. But I am a big believer. Carolyn , " Davey, Dave " <David.Bursky wrote: > > I injured myself in a car accident. Guest guest
Hi David: Take a couple of tablespoons/ day of MSM to help grow back any cartilage damage. Buy it in bulk on eBay. Take magnesium gel or oil transdermally. You can buy the oil at Swanson Vitamin online or the gel from Global Light Network. Rub it in your skin after each shower. This will help the bone mending. This is one area where mainstream medicine has its act together, but they will not help you much with your rib... and that can be pretty painful. Best Wishes, Jim >I injured myself in a car accident.
