Obamacare will be rationing

Actually that is not correct. I have family and friends all over the globe

and they do not come here for healthcare because their healthcare is

excellent. If anything we go abroad because our insurance companies RATION

CARE everyday. I speak from a Medical Professional's view as well as a

consumer! Everyday at work I have to fight with health care insurx companies

to provide care for my patients and then I have to fight my own insurx

company, blue cross for my own care. A single payor system does NOT ration

health care. If you believe that, then you know NOTHING of what a single

payor system is all about. They also do NOT kill off elderly people- that

is a right winged conspiracy argument. All we want is CHOICE. If the

government run plan is better than the crappy blue cross PPO plan that I

have now- I would CHANGE in a heartbeat! I have a very expensive life

threatening disease that has Zero cure and I have a lifetime cap to my

benefits whx is only 750,000.00. After I max that out- I will probably not

be able to get insurance and so yes, I want the ability to have a frigging

choice to what plan I can have. So, do ALL of my patients and my partners

patients!

<< >> Obamacare will be rationing

A single payer system, will lead to rationing of health care services, and

euthanasia of the elderly eventually, I believe. Baby boomers are retiring

at the rate of 2000 a day, this is going to be a huge load on the govt.

medical system in the future. What is going to happen to them? When they

are sick, and taking up too much funds? We know in other countries, they

come here when they can't get care. This will lead to maximum caps, and

rationing of health care benefits. What will happen when you have reached

your limit? You are not eligible for any more care under the govt? You don

t have any more funds? Think about it.

This is dangerous. 80% of people are happy with their healthcare. The 20%

that is not, should be helped, not changed for everyone. Also, government

officials WILL NOT have the same plan that we all have, they have their own

special plans. If you get a chance to talk to your Senators or Reps, ask

them, Will you be using this plan yourself? Because if it is not good

enough for you, it is not good enough for us.

No one I know is happy with their helth care. My mother, just treated for

cancer, and denied coverage even though she's paying 700 dollars a month

isn't happy. I wasn't happy when my husband lost his job, and cobra was too

expensive to keep, and since I was pregnant not only would no company insure

me but they wouldn't insure just my husband and son. They were turned down

because I was pregnant, even though I wasn't applying for coverage, tell me

what's there to be happy about. I hope Obama succeeds in everything he's

doing.

Oh wow. I know a thousand people in the city that I live and I would say about

only about 20% of them are happy.... IF THAT! We have corporate health care on

top of corporate insurance and that's absolutely unbearable. I know people who

have been screamed and and told to leave doctors offices or threatened to be

turned into 'security' because they would not accept big pharma's prescriptions

handed over by the doctors. Most of the doctors will not accept you as a patient

if you won't take their drugs. They will call you disorderly or uncooperative.

I guess the drugs are really the big problem like someone else on this list

said. Right now I don't have to worry about 'rationing care' because I'm scared

shitless to go to a doctor because I don't want to fight with them about taking

pills ( nor vaccinations)   I know that if I argue they will call their own

'Kaleida police'. It's 'Kaleida Healthcare systems', and YOU BETTER BE REAL

SCARED!

This is going to be the norm in every American city if you let it be.

Those who cannot afford health insurance are already without

healthcare in cities like New Orleans.

Who says 80% of people are happy with their healthcare? Got

references for that statement?

Greater reality on Obama care but also on Obama in general.

*note - what is freaky about this is that all social issues that are important

to a majority is citizens, like universal healthcare, non petroluem

society/alternative energy, fixing the economy - well they are all being

hijacked and turned against us all - except of course - the elite/oligarky.

Here is what is going on. Right now, everything is in favor of the health

insurance industry. They are set up to get unbelievably rich. There's little

to stop them from skimming obscene profits right off the top of your premium

dollar, denying your claims and purging you from the rolls when you get sick.

The American people are like sheep being led to the slaughter. It's in the best

interest of the insurance industry to encourage the people to have no confidence

in the government, because right now the only way they can be stopped is if the

government steps in. They want to stop you and me from using the government -

OUR government, to correct the problem and create equal health care coverage for

all Americans, because that will mean the end of their gravy train. End of

story.

I used to be a health insurance benefits administrator, and I can tell you from

experience that the satisfaction rate for healthcare was lower than that before

I retired eleven years ago. And I have it from my friends who are still in the

industry that it's gotten far worse. In fact, it's shocking how much coverage

has decreased and how much rates have gone up.

How can 80% of the people be happy with their healthcare, when 18% had no health

insurance in 2007, and the number has been steadily rising since?

How can 80% of the people be happy with their healthcare when it's costing half

their income? All Americans should be outraged.

  • 2 weeks later...

$700 a month would be more than what would be needed in alternatives to actually

" cure " your mother's cancer, and midwives are highly trained in delivering

babies and then the 22 poisons that are injected into the baby at birth under

the cloak of  " vaccinations " could be avoided.  The American people need to take

responsibility for managing their own health and not look for the magic pill to

fix everything without having to do anything to fix it themselves.  Health can

no more be regulated than morals can, what might work for you, isn't going to

for the next person and so on, so someone is always going to have a complaint.

The real healthcare reform that needs to take place in this country is to lift

the restrictions and allow ALL avenues of health to be practiced, not just the

allopathy monopoly that is taking place now.
