If you go to the emergency room you will wait about about 6 hours and on a busy day or night you will be there about 12 hours for a cut finger. You NEVER get a choice of what doctor you see because they tell you that you are seeing your doctor, but you never do. They just shove someone else in there and say 'oh well'. So in the course of five years you would see a different doctor every time. It does not matter what kind of health care you have, everyone gets treat like shit except the employees of Kaleida and their families. This corporation Kaleida owns EVERYTHING in this city, so you can't say, go to someone else because they own 15 hospitals and 35 clinics in this area and that's a low estimate. Everything gets swept under the rug too. No matter what gets done to you, no matter how bad you are treated, everyone is in on the take. The lawyers, politicians and just about everyone you can think of is on the take too, so don't ever think that you can sue Kaleida or any of their doctors because in this mafia like health cqre system you will likely wind up dead or missing for trying to god forbid mess with the almighty Kaleida. This is the ugly face of corporate health care gone wild. Soon to be coming to a city near you if you leave things the way they are. First you describe Hillary and Bill Clinton's effort to reform healthcare as a " ...debacle, " then you proceed to tell us why it could not have been otherwise to any discerning observer. Hillary was given the task to deal with the disaster that is U. S. health care, because of her profound interest and dedication to this problem. Any effort to deal with the " ...insatiable, profiteering, subsidized health care giants, " is a triumph, hardly a debacle. Hillary should have the greatest praise heaped on her for her incredible daring in taking on this daunting task. Obama is benefitting from her first attack on this monster. Hillary crashed through the tightly closed door of our traditional health care disaster. How could she " win " in such an attack? You can't win with any sincere effort to seriously reform healthcare, you can only lay the groundwork for a second assault on the problem. It's Obama that has failed us miserably, as he has in virtually every important political issue our nation faces; starting with the appalling trillion-dollar giveaway to the power-elite. He didn't even have a courageous health-care model when he ran against Hillary for the nomination of his party. Her health care agenda, was overwhelmingly better than his, and, in spite of the rancor and hatred directed at her from all sides, including from elements in her own party, the " people, " were not fooled. What you read about below from me is observation of corporate greed. It has nothing to do with the government. Most of what you think is run by the government these days is actually done by private corporations. The political 'right' is being led by the nose in this argument by the corporate run and sponsored media and not doubt much of that is from the insurance companies and the drug companies.
