Guest guest
I have been reading more and more about these meds being in our water systems, and they can't get them out, there is no way to get them out. Esp. contraceptives. So many women are taking the birth control pill, they urinate out the meds, and it goes into the city water, where it is recycled. They can remove many things from the water, with the additon of chlorine, but they can't remove meds like these, heart meds, cholest. meds, etc. Essentially we are all drinking this these meds all the time. Does anyone know if RO or distilled water can destroy these chemicals?? Any info, would certainly help. Thank you friends.

Distillation will remove all dissolved content. RO will remove most of it.
