Guest guest
I have a pulling pain in the back part of my arch on one foot. It comes and goes but can be painful especially first thing in the morning. I was told that it might be plantar fasciatis.

Another sister told me that her husband had it, and what he was told to do to remedy it was toe raises, which strengthen the muscles supporting the arch (I have unusually high arches): With your feet pointing straight forward, raise up onto your tiptoes and back down. Repeat 30 times. Then, with your toes pointing inward, again, raise up onto your tiptoes 30x. Lastly, with your toes pointing outward, raise up another 30x. Do daily. I did these exercises and within a few days the pain that caused me to cut back in my walking/running mileage decreased dramatically. After a few weeks, it was gone completely. To keep it from coming back, I do these toe raises every so often, but no longer daily. Carolyn
