Guest guest
We are tight on funds and can't afford to buy everything organic. I found the best alternative is to buy pesticide-free or organic when we are going to eat the peeling, if not, then we don't buy it organic. Guest guest
I have read is a few places that only 20% of the pesticides are on the skin. There are links in that article to different foods - if you can't buy organic then it helps to try to eat mainly the foods that have less pesticides on them - that was part of the reason why I posted it. So ti doesn't have to be an 'all or nothing' thing. Another thing you can do is grow some of your food in containers - that does actually yeild more then I would have thought and one can often do that even if they live in an apartment. And then there are the farmer's markets too - and some farmers charge less then others........so it it worth checking out a few. blessings Shan , " Sylvia Aponte " <saponte wrote: > > We are tight on funds and can't afford to buy everything organic.
