RNAO, CELA and others to lobby for this and formulate the best legislation;

and this suggested amendment is a reflection of their thinking, although

not complete wish list, such as will be presented to the committee looking

Dear supporter of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the

Environment (CAPE),

 

 

We need your help right away! The Ontario government has introduced Toxics

Reduction legislation which will prevent harmful chemicals from entering

our environment. But to ensure the legislation is strong, the Ontario

government must make some amendments.

 

 

Please take one minute right now to send an email to the MPP overseeing

this issue, Kevin Flynn, and ask him to strengthen the proposed Toxics

Reduction Act.

3. Restrict the use of toxic chemicals that are still in use through

guidance from an Ontario Toxic Use Reduction Institute (OTURI).
